More COVID-19 Restrictions To Be Lifted Soon – FG

The Federal Government says it will soon lift more COVID-19 restrictions to relieve Nigerians, especially travellers, of some stress. 

This was disclosed by the National Coordinator/Technical Head, Presidential Steering Committee (PSC) on COVID-19, Dr Mukhtar Muhammad, on a Television programme on Tuesday.

He said even though the world is moving on away from COVID-19, it is only proper that relaxation of the restrictions are done gradually without rush to avoid mistakes.

The PSC member also said hospitalisation and mortality rate have gone down but the risk to contract COVID-19 is still there, hence the need not to be in a rush with the lifting of restrictions.
