Soludo Assents To Anambra 2023 Budget

Governor Chukwuma Soludo has assented to the 2023 budget.
It is the first full budget of the present administration totaling two hundred and sixty billion naira.
The function, performed by the governor at the governor’s lodge, Amawbia, had in attendance the Deputy Governor, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Uche Okafor, the Deputy Majority Leader, Honourable Emeka Aforka and the commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Ms. Chiamaka Nnake among others.
While describing the timely passage of the budget as a productive partnership, Governor Soludo thanked the state House of Assembly, noting that it is a march to achieving the transformation agenda of the present administration.
According to the Governor, passing the act of parliament is the fundamental job, applauding them for expeditiously scrutinizing and passing the budget into law.
While expressing optimism that the dreams he promised the people will be achieved in spite of all odds and challenges, Governor Soludo assured that his administration will keep pressing on all accelerators.
Recall that on the tenth of November, 2022, the governor presented the draft estimate of two hundred and fifty-eight billion, nine hundred and seventy million, one hundred and seventy-five thousand, nine hundred and five naira to Anambra State House of Assembly, the budget is tagged, “Budget of Acceleration”.
