Anambra Schools Close For 1st Term 16th December 2022

The 1st term of the 2022/2023 academic session in Anambra State ends on Friday 16th December, 2022.

The 2022/2023 academic calendar of Anambra State also states that the resumption of serious academic activities for the 2nd term is 9th January, 2023.

While wishing the students, teachers and parents, the best of the yuletide, the Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh admonished all operators in the Anambra State Education system, to prepare adequately for the task of providing value and skill based education for Anambra children as schools resume for the second term.

Commissioner Chuma-Udeh reminded the students, especially those of them that would face external examinations including SSCE, NABTEB and JAMB, that the yuletide season should be a time for them to consolidate on their preparations for the external examinations.

According to the Commissioner, their preparations would determine how they intend to move on with the future in their academic pursuit.
