Traders At Ogbaru Main Market Embark On General Sanitation, Commends Soludo On Initiative…

The President General of Ogbaru Main Market, Mr. Ndubisi Ochiogu, has commended Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo for launching clean, green sustainable environmental initiative in the state.

Mr. Ochiogu made the commendation during the desilting of blocked drainages and general sanitation exercise carried out in the market.

He stated that the sanitation exercise was in compliance with the directives given by Governor Soludo to all markets, twenty-one council areas across the state and individuals.

Inspecting the exercise, Mr. Ochiogu, who expressed joy with the level of compliance by some traders, warned that defaulters would have their shops locked up as punishment.

He described the clean, green sustainable environmental initiative and operation keep your gutters clean as a brilliant approach in repositioning Anambra State Health Sector.

Mr. Ochiogu therefore noted that the sanitation directives by the governor had become a law in the market, even as he warned traders to desist from showcasing their wares on top of gutters and report any person found throwing wastes inside gutters to the market task force for disciplinary action.

The market Sanitation Chairman, Mr. Godwin Okpara, applauded Professor Soludo’s developmental strides and the leadership quality of their leader, Mr. Ochiogu.
