Anambra Ministry of Education keys in to Gov’s wife Initiative on Healthy Living…

The Ministry of Education Anambra State has keyed in to the Healthy Living Initiative of Dr. Mrs Nonye Soludo, the wife of the Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.
Conveying the approval of the Ministry of Education for the establishment of Healthy Living Clubs in Anambra State schools, the Commissioner for Education Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh lauded the wife of the State Governor for coming up with such wonderful initiative aimed at inculcating healthy living habits in Anambra children.
Commissioner Chuma-Udeh enjoined the team members of the initiative to strive for expansion and bring parents on board the program.
Professor Udeh stated this in a statement released by Mr. Nnaemeka Egwuonwu, the Public Relations Officer of the ministry.
Commissioner Chuma-Udeh however warned that in accordance with the stipulations of the Governor’s wife, on no account should any child pay any fee for registration or any other reason.
The highpoint of the event was the handing over of the approval letters to the Chairman, Post Primary Schools Service Commission, Prof. Nkechi Ikediugwu and Dr. Vera Nwadinobi, Chairman, Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board.
