Monthly Sanitation Exercise Holds In Anambra Tomorrow Saturday…

Anambra State Government has announced that the June edition of the monthly environmental sanitation exercise will hold on Saturday, June twenty-four, 2023.

A statement signed by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Anambra State Waste Management Authority, ASWAMA, Mr. Mike Ozoemena, said that the exercise will hold simultaneously in all the communities across the state within the hours of seven to ten o’clock in the morning.

It reports that the statement warned that during the sanitation hours, no form of vehicular or human movement would be tolerated, as anyone found to be violating the order would be prosecuted.

The statement also urged Transition Committee Chairmen of various council areas to ensure proper mobilization and compliance.

It further charged Ndi Anambra to participate fully in the exercise, clean their surroundings, desilt water channels and properly bag their wastes for adequate collection and disposal by the waste management contractors, and help the Soludo led administration actualize a clean, green and livable Anambra for all.
