Hon Fred Ezenwa partners Catholic Church,others on service delivery and accountability…

The member representing Onitsha South 1 Constituency in Anambra state House of Assembly,Hon Fred Ezenwa has held his maiden stakeholders meeting where he engaged his constituents among whom were Catholic church representatives.

The maiden stakeholders meeting which was held during the week at the Fegge Recreation Club Onitsha also attracted traders,market women,transport unions and civil society organisations.

While addressing the gathering,the Executive Director of Justice Development,Peace and Caritas (JDPC),Onitsha,Very Rev Fr Dr Edwin Udoye, commended Hon Fred Ezenwa for carrying the various stakeholders along ,including religious bodies inorder to put heads together to plan the way forward for good governance and welfare of the people.

He advised him to carry along Presidents Generals and various groups including religious groups inorder to tackle the poor infrastructural situation in the constituency and the state in general.

Fr Udoye urged the legislator to look into the burning issues of exorbitant taxation and also ensure that the free education initiative of governor Soludo was working.

Earlier in his presentation,Hon Ezenwa said he wanted to demonstrate accountability by staging the maiden stakeholders meeting involving all the 7 political wards in his constituency. Hon Ezenwa who is the chairman of House Committee on Environment,disclosed to the cheering stakeholders that he sponsored two successful motions on decongestion of Onitsha Correctional Centre as well as several  other bills in the works.

He commended Gov Soludo for the ongoing massive road rehabilitation within Fegge Onitsha,adding that he was solidly behind the Soludo over his developmental strides.
