Edo PDP Raises Alarm Over Alleged Worsening Insecurity Under Okpebholo.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Edo State chapter has raised the alarm over the continuous killings of innocent people in the state in the past two weeks, blaming it on the state government’s failure to ensure the protection of lives and property of its citizens
The Edo state acting caretaker committee chairman of the party, Dr. Anthony Aziegbemi, raised the alarm at a press conference titled “Edo PDP State-of-the-State Address.” on Monday in Benin City.
Aziegbemi noted that the former governor of the state and now a senator representing Edo North senatorial district, Adams Oshiomhole, had, during plenary at the National Assembly, last week decried and lamented the worsening insecurity in the state.
