Supporters storm Jonathan’s office, urge him to contest

Hundreds of supporters, including women and youth groups, Friday, stormed the office of former President Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja calling on him to contest for President in 2023.
The supporters arrived at the office with a musical band around 8:50 a.m.
They lamented that since he left office, hunger, insecurity, unemployment, among others have become the order of the day.
Leaders of the placard-carrying supporters took turns to ask the former President to return to office in 2023.They promised to work for his victory at the polls.
Responding, Jonathan appreciated the large crowd for their support and visit.
He said: “Yes, you are calling me to come and declare. I cannot tell you i am declaring now but the political process is still ongoing.”
