Anambra 2023 Appropriation Bill: State Assembly Assures Of Expeditious Passage

Anambra State House of Assembly has said that it will painstakingly look at the 2023 Appropriation Bill and come up with a framework that will satisfy the intent of the government and developmental needs of the state.

The Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Uche Okafor gave the assurance during the presentation of the 2023 Appropriation Bill of about two hundred and sixty billion naira to Anambra State House of Assembly by Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

the Speaker observed that the Governor within eight months in office flagged off over two hundred kilometers of roads for construction across the state, employed many teachers, improved the security architecture and environmental sanitation among others to fast-track development of the state.

He appreciated Governor Soludo for providing funds and other materials for the rehabilitation of flood displaced persons through the Anambra State Emergency Management Agency, assuring the Governor that the 2023 Appropriation bill would be given expeditious passage to meet his vision for the State.
