Anambra State government has cancelled the last Saturday environmental sanitation exercise for the month of May 2023 scheduled for tomorrow.
A statement signed by the Managing Director Anambra State Waste Management Authority ASWAMA, Mr Mike Ozoemena said this is to enable the children of Anambra State join their counterparts across the nation in marking the annual Children’s day celebration holding same day.
The statement however urged residents of Anambra State to clean their surroundings, desilt water channels and properly bag their waste for proper evacuation by waste management contractors, reminding them that a clean, green and livable Anambra is possible.
