Anambra State Govt Plans To Establish Central Motor Park

Plans are underway by the Anambra State Government to establish a central Motor Park in the State.
The Commissioner for Transport Mrs Patricia Igwebuike who disclosed this in the said visibility studies Will be conducted to ascertain the best place to establish such within the state.
Mrs Igwebuike said that the aim of establishing the central Motor Park is to decongest the roads of gridlock usually caused by drivers who pick up ,discharge passengers along the highway improve the revenue profile of the state in addition to boosting its aesthetics.
The Anambra State Commissioner for Transport who also disclosed government plans to create a mechanic village in Awka cautioned Motorists against violating traffic codes to minimize the rate of accidents on the highway.
She called on Ndi Anambra to continue with their support to the Soludo administration in all its effort to develop Anambra State.
The Commissioner said that the Ministry in conjunction with the Federal Road Safety Commission will organise training for Motorists across the state on the need to obey road signs.
