Anambra State Govt Reassures Corps Members Of Support, Protection… 

Anambra state government has reassured Corps Members in the of support and protection throughout their service year.

The state Deputy Governor, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim gave the assurance at the National Youths Service Corps, NYSC Orientation Camp Umuawulu-Mbaukwu in Awka South Local Government Area, while declaring closed the NYSC orientation programme for Batch C Stream One corps members.

Deputy Governor Ibezim who appreciated Corps members serving in state for significantly contributing to the workforce of the state said that the Professor Chukwuma Soludo administration will continue to ensure their safety throughout their stay in Anambra.

Dr Ibezim while reminding the new corps members that the state is safe for them, asked them to endeavour to remarkably contribute to the development and progress of the state through selfless services, and told them that some of them can even be opportuned to be employed by Anambra state government after their service year if they perform creditably well in their areas of primary assignments.

The Deputy Governor used the opportunity to restate the commitment of the Professor Soludo government towards providing good opportunities for law abiding youths in the state.

In an address, the National Youths Service Corps, NYSC Director General, Mrs Amaka Ehebo represented by the state Coordinator of the NYSC, Mrs Blessing Iruma encouraged the corps members to serve their father land wholeheartedly and device better ways to make an indelible impact in their places of primary assignments.
