Anambra State Govt Reassures Ex-servicemen Of Support… 

Governor Chukwuma Soludo has assured that his administration will continue to support ex- servicemen in the state as their contribution to national security and development is enormous.

The Anambra state Governor gave the assurance during emblem appeal fund launching in commemoration of this year’s Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration at Government House, Awka.

Governor Soludo who was represented by his Deputy, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim commended the ex-servicemen for sacrifices made for the wellbeing of the Nigerian Nation throughout their service years, and thanked God for sparing their lives till date.

The Governor reminded them that there are still ways to contribute to the progress and development of the society,including their words of advice to the young generation to be patriotic and law abiding, assuring them of the present government’s assistance at all time.

Earlier in a speech, the Executive Chairman and Commandant of Nigerian Legion, Anambra State Council, Mr. Ben Agbogu appreciated Governor Soludo for various support his administration had accorded the council, and appealed for more interventions.
