Anambra State Govt To Reconstruct Bank Road Nnewi… 

Governor Chukwuma Soludo has inspected the popular Bank Road Nnewi to ascertain the nature of the road as he promised to reconstruct the road.

The Governor said that the road is strategic in his efforts to give Nnewi a facelift inline with the livable and prosperous Anambra agenda.

Governor Soludo assured that the road will be done with pedestrian walkway on both sides as it is in other developed cities of the world.

He assured the people of Nnewi of greater commitment towards a better Nnewi and asked for the cooperation of the people.

The inspection commenced at Ibeto junction to Nwanyi Imo Junction.

The Transition Committee Chairman of Nnewi North Local Government Area, Engr Chris Obiorah, the Commissioner for work, Engineer Ifeanyi Okoma, the Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South local government area, Mrs Amaka Obi, Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth Empowerment Programme, Dr Nelson Omenugha among other stakeholders were part of the inspection.
