Anambra State Govt To Upgrade, Expand Igboukwu Museum

The Anambra State Government has promised to upgrade and expand the Igbo- ukwu museum in order to attract tourists and investors to the State.
The Commissioner for Culture, Tourism and Entertainment Mr Don Onyenji made the promise during the memorial service of Chief Ozonka Onwughalu, who contributed to the establishment of the Igbo-ukwu museum.
The Commissioner while encouraging Igbo-ukwu people to continue to identify with their culture, said government will look into various cultures of Ndigbo, know those that should be expanded and projected before the International Community.
He urged Ndigbo to embrace their culture which has distinguished them globally.
He called for love for one another, hard work, peace and unity, as according to him these will help attract more development to Anambra and Nigeria in general.
