Anambra State Traditional Rulers Laud Soludo For Tackling Insecurity

The Anambra State Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Mr. Tony Collins Nwabunwanne has urged Anambra Traditional Rulers to be good ambassadors of the StateMr. Nwabunwanne made this call while addressing Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council during their monthly meeting at the Government House Awka.
The Commissioner commended the monarchs for their efforts towards the maintenance of peace and order in their various communities as well as their collaboration with the State Government in ensuring peace and unity in state.
The Commissioner charged them to keep being good ambassadors of their various communities and the state at large in all their dealings as fathers and community leaders.
He noted that the issue of insecurity is being resolved by the governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration, adding that he would arrange a meeting between them and the state Governor as they have demanded in a due course.
Earlier in his remarks during the meeting which revolved around Security and Anambra State Traditional Rulers Law, the chairman of the council, Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe of Onitsha on behalf of the royal fathers commended Governor Soludo for his efforts so far in tackling the challenges of insecurity surrounding some areas in the state.
