Eid-el-Malud : Anambra State Assembly Speaker Okafor Felicitates With Muslims

The Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Uche Okafor has extolled Governor Chukwuma Soludo for creating an enabling environment for Muslims in the state to propagate their faith and also earn their living.
In his goodwill message to Muslims as they celebrate the feast of Eid-el-Malud Right Honourable Okafor enjoined them to pursue peace at all times since neither Islam nor Christianity preaches violence.
The speaker emphasized that tolerance among different religious bodies in the country remained the primary solution to the discrepancy witnessed in all facets of governance in the country.
He solicited prayers from all religious bodies to surmount political, economic and religious challenges facing the masses and assured that the state legislature will continue to support all efforts to promote harmonious co-existence among different tribes in the country.
Right Hoourable Okafor who described Governor Soludo as accommodating, urged Muslims in the state to reciprocate the gesture by giving the governor the needed support at all times.
