EU extends scholarships to Nigerian varsity lecturers, non-teaching staff…

The European Union on Tuesday, said it is extending its Erasmus plus postgraduate scholarships to academic and non-academic staff of Nigerian higher institutions.
This, the EU, said will promote knowledge sharing and professional growth.
This was disclosed in a statement in Abuja by the European Union Delegation to Nigeria.
Quoted in the statement, the EU ambassador to Nigeria and ECOWAS, Samuela Isopi noted that the Erasmus scholarship can be described as a success story that the EU is proud of.
It was also stated that about 800 Nigerians have been sponsored since 2004.
