Federal Govt Hails Production Of First-ever LNG Stove

The federal government has hailed the research, designing, and anticipated mass production of the first-ever Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) stove by young Nigerians, saying it clearly indicated the indomitable spirit of Nigerians.

LNG which is said to be cheaper, lower risk as it is lighter than air, with lower CO2 emissions will be launched in March 2022.

Minister of information and culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed who disclosed this during an inspection visit to Unicorn Hub in Lagos yesterday said that he visited the platform with his team not just to see the great job at the hub, but also to help tell the world what Unicorn is doing.

The highly elated minister, who described Unicorn as a true representation of Nigerian spirit

said the surest way to build local capacity of young Nigerians and tell African story is true education.

He promised to support the innovators by linking them with government institutions that would partner with them to make their products and services available to the public.

He said, “As I always say, it is not just enough to do good things. You must be seen to be doing them.

He hailed the chairman of UNICORN Group, Dr. Akintoye Akindele for believing in Nigeria and investing in the country.
