FG, Nile Varsity Sign MoU On Aviation Varsity Take Off…

The federal government on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 signed a memorandum of understanding with Nile University of Nigeria for the take-off of the African Aviation and Aerospace University in September this year.
The Minister of Aviation, Sen Hadi Sirika, signed on behalf of the federal government while the vice chancellor, Prof. Dilli Dogo, signed on behalf of Nile University.
Sirika said the university will be run on dual mode, (hybrid) physical and virtual, beginning with BSc Aviation Business, and BSc Meteorology.
He assured that following the NUC approval, a Master of Science in Aviation Management will commence at the university.
Speaking further, he said the take-off and governing of the university will be through public and private sector arrangements and in the long run would become fully private.
He said the MoU will enable Nile University to provide the attention and research support for the take-off of the undergraduate programme for the first two years as provided by the NUC convention and practice.
