Idemili South Local Government Stakeholders Commends Soludo On Rehabilitation Nnobi – Awka-Etiti Road

Idemili South Local Government stakeholders have commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for commencing the rehabilitation of Nnobi – Awka-Etiti road, which they said has been in bad state for a long time.

Serious work is ongoing on the road to make it motorable by December.

Speaking on the development, the Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area, Mrs Amaka Obi, regretted that the condition of the road has adversely affected economic activities in the area, and commended Governor Soludo for responding to the need of Ndi Idemili South.

She noted that the intervention is one of the ways the Governor has responded to the challenges confronting the local government, all geared towards giving the Ndi Idemili South better life, assuring that they will remain supportive of Governor Soludo’s developmental policies.

An All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, chieftain in the area, Chief Ikenna Iyiegbu, while expressing profound gratitude to Governor Soludo for living up to his campaign promises, not just to the people of Idemili South, but entire state, expressed hope that the transformation of Anambra state is near.

He called on the people of Idemili South and Anambra state at large to support the Governor’s good intentions through maximum cooperation, and further called for increased public-community-private partnership to help drive development down to the hinterlands, saying that government lone efforts won’t deliver needed result.
