Sleepy driver kills conductor, injure four others in Anambra

A bus conductor died while four others sustained varying degrees of injury in a motor accident along Ihiala-Owerri Road, Anambra State.
The accident, which occurred around 5am on Tuesday, involved two vehicles, a white Zhongtong Luxury bus and another unidentified vehicle with twenty-two passengers on board.
An eyewitness, who was one of the passengers, attributed the cause of the crash to fatigue and loss of control.
Confirming the incident, Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), AdeoyeIrelewuyi said the deceased was the conductor of the bus.
He sympathised with the deceased family, and wished the injured victims quick recovery, just as he urged drivers to ensure they observed the regulatory rest period before plying the road.
