Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has lauded the armed forces for their dedicated service to the public and the nation.
The Governor gave the commendation during a mass commemorating the 2024 Armed Forces Day Celebration at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, Awka.
In his address Governor Soludo lauded the armed forces’ professionalism and commitment, recognizing their role in addressing insecurity, especially in the eight local government areas previously under siege.
He attributed the peaceful Christmas season and mass return of Ndị Anambra to the restoration of peace, law, and order in the state.
The Governor extended prayers to the souls of those who lost their lives in the line of duty, emphasizing the importance of the day in honoring current and ex-servicemen.
