In a significant development aimed at enhancing public safety and improving the quality of life for residents of Agbata/Igweakpu and Abouhana, Ndiowu in Orumba North Local Government Area, Governor Chukwuma Soludo has inaugurated installation of four hundred units of solar lights in the community.
The initiative funded by a philanthropist, Engineer Chibueze Ike, will illuminate major roads and community gathering spaces.
The event took place at the community, where the Governor was joined by community leaders, and residents eager to witness the unveiling of the new street lights that promise to brighten the area after dark.
In his remarks, Governor Soludo praised Engineer Ike for his commitment to the community and his generous contribution.
On his part, Engineer Ike who stated his strong commitment to the community, expressed belief that the Governor still has something to offer the country, having provided solution to the state since he assumed office.
